International Women's Day 2022

by Ashley MitchellMar 08, 2022

We had so much fun putting together the first ever NEA Gift Guide for the 2021 holiday season, that we wanted to do it again—but this time with a specific focus: women!

International Women's Day is March 8th, and the 2022 theme is #BreakTheBias, with the goal of raising awareness and ridding the world of the biases, stereotypes, and discrimination that prohibit gender equality. In this vein, we've tapped into our female-founded and women-led portfolio companies to extract some of our favorite consumer products that represent the notion of breaking bias and celebrating the creativity, talent, and achievement of women and non-binary founders and leaders. From the Little Feminist and feMINIst collections at Maisonette, to the Women of DC Comics toppers from Pair, or the Not Princess Purple tee from re—inc (whose very vision is to 'boldly reimnagine gender equity!'), we think supporting these businesses is a great way to #BreakTheBias and treat yourself (or an amazing woman in your life) to some awesome products.
