Chase joined NEA in 2020 as an investor on the technology team, where he focuses on enterprise and consumer technology investments. Prior to joining NEA, Chase was an investment banker at Qatalyst Partners in San Francisco where he worked on transformative M&A transactions across software, networking, consumer internet and semiconductors. While at Qatalyst, Chase worked on Zoox’s sale to Amazon, OptimalPlus’s sale to National Instruments, MINDBODY’s sale to Vista Equity Partners, Imperva’s sale to Thoma Bravo and BroadSoft’s sale to Cisco Systems. Prior to Qatalyst, Chase spent time at Revolution Growth.
Chase graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Minor in Statistics and Certificate from the Booth School of Business Dougan Scholars Program. While at UChicago, Chase competed as a pitcher for the Varsity Baseball team and held various leadership positions in EdgeX, a student-run incubator for UChicago-affiliated startups.
