Anika joined NEA in 2022 as an investor on the healthcare team working across the digital health and life sciences sectors. Prior to joining NEA, Anika was a member of the Healthcare M&A group at Lazard in New York, where she worked on various M&A transactions and partnerships across biopharma and healthcare services. Anika also spent time conducting research in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Pennsylvania as well as translational genetics research at the Regeneron Genetics Center.
Anika graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Vagelos Program in Life Sciences & Management, were she earned a B.S. in Economics from Wharton concentrating in Healthcare Management & Policy, a B.A. in Neuroscience, and a minor in South Asian Studies. She is originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia.
