Matt joined NEA in 2014 as an associate and focuses on consumer and enterprise technology investments. He is on the Board of Directors at Benchprep, Bonsai.ai, and Suniva and is actively involved in NEA’s investment’s in Barkly, Framebridge, Goop, Jet, Raise, and Wallapop. Prior to joining NEA, Matt was a member of the Technology, Media, and Telecom investment banking team at Goldman Sachs where he focused on the consumer internet sector and private company coverage. At Goldman, Matt worked on a number of transactions for companies including LinkedIn, Pinterest, Riverbed, Nuance Communications, and Yodlee. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Matt interned at First Round Capital and helped to launch Splash.fm, a social network for music sharing and discovery. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a BA in History.
