Alex Oppenheimer

Alex joined NEA as an Associate in 2013 and focuses on enterprise and consumer technology investments. Prior to joining NEA, Alex was a member of Morgan Stanley’s Technology Investment Banking team in Menlo Park. While at Morgan Stanley, Alex worked on a variety of transactions across the software, security, internet, semiconductor, and hardware sectors with companies including SuccessFactors, Micron, Facebook, Ambarella, SMART Technologies, Alert Logic, Brocade and Barracuda Networks. Alex earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Alex currently serves on the board of the IBD Summer Camp Foundation for kids with Crohn’s Disease and Colitis.
