Pradeep joined NEA’s India office in 2011 and is an Assistant Vice President based in Mumbai. Pradeep brings more than 8 years of experience in various roles in private equity investing, mergers and acquisitions and software development. Prior to joining NEA, Pradeep was with Astarc, a Mumbai based family office, where he worked on investment opportunities in automobile ancillaries, energy, building materials, infrastructure and retail solutions. He was involved in structuring and executing transactions and actively managed several portfolio companies in automotive, energy and building materials sectors. Prior to Astarc, Pradeep worked with Ernst &Young’s investment banking practice where he advised clients and executed M&A and PE transactions for public and private companies in technology, life sciences and pharmaceuticals. Pre-MBA, he worked at Microsoft as a Software Design Engineer where he owned multiple components and was responsible for product life-cycle management. Pradeep received an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, First Class with Distinction, from University of Madras. Pradeep has been a competitive tennis player.  In addition, he started a non-profit organization to teach conversational English to less privileged children.
