Seed/Start-Up Stage

NEA invests in big ideas. We also invest in people. In some cases, this means we provide seed capital to entrepreneurs during the most formative stages of a company’s development. These big ideas have led to some very successful enterprises, many founded right in NEA’s offices. Some entrepreneurs continue partnering with NEA through several company lifecycles—more than one-third of our portfolio companies are founded by entrepreneurs who have already worked with NEA as a capital partner.
